Anna Gram - Celestial Objects

The multifaceted Anna Gram’s new EP is another addition in a long line of her fantastic musical achievements. Being one half of beloved DJ Duo LEZZER QUEST, a long standing resident of the queer party night Shoot Your Shot and now her solo career proves Gram lives and breathes music. Celestial Objects is the title track from her debut solo EP, a cosmic wonderland of stuttering synths and pounding bass drums. Immediately pulling you into the thumping electro beats like someone taking you to the dancefloor.

Chef, Aiitee  - Presidential Mistakes

Coming in hot with Presidential Mistakes, Aberdeen Rapper Chef brings a master class of lyricism and flow. Featuring fellow Aberdonian Aiitee on vocals, the pair meld together seamlessly with each artist complimenting the other with vocal trade offs. Featuring SAMA Nominee Louis Seivwright on production, and even SAY 2020 Winner Nova in the video, this track is teaming with homegrown brilliance. You can catch Chef performing this song at the upcoming HANG on 31/7/21.

clarq - Sink Or Swim

A stumbling beat guides you through Sink or Swim, the latest single from electro-pop act clarq. The lead single from clarq’a debut EP Again Before Since, Sink or Swim ebbs and flows through pulsating synths and pitched vocals and still manages to fit a glorious chorus effortlessly.

Conscious Route, Kryptik - Trojan

Bringing Paisley and Edinburgh together, this collab between Conscious Route and Kryptik is a contender for the most engaging and scathing tracks to come from Scottish Hip Hop. Display a fiery chemistry as both artists trade off bar after a bar, making for a raucous track.

Goodnight Louisa - Get Your Hands off My Girlfriend

Layered with cinematic synths, Get Your Hand off My Girlfriend is another reason why Edinburgh’s Goodnight Louisa is one of the best artists in recent years. Carving a sonic cacophony of synth bliss, reaching sounds that would make Beach House run and hide. Paving the way for her debut album Human Danger, the track received its airplay premiere on Vic Galloway’s BBC Radio Scotland show.

India Ros3 - No Time

Opening a new sonic chapter in her career so far, the brand new track from India Rose is the full dancefloor package. Swapping chill hip-hop beats for a classic House beat, this track is the perfect way to kick off a club night. Relenting kicks and snares snap away and the synth lays the melodic ground work for India Rose to flourish as a vocalist.

Kitti - Pretty Girls

With a recent Session for BBC Introducing in Scotland and an appearance at Latitude festival, Glasgow based singer-songwriter Kitti has been hard at work despite all the doom and gloom of the pandemic. Her latest single Pretty Girls is an absolute powerhouse performance from the singer, with vocals that soar and twist hitting piercing high notes brimming with passion and soul.

North Atlas - Midnight Sun

Kicking off with the punishing beats and stadium-sized chords, Midnight Sun is the brand new track from Dumfires trio North Atlas. Garnering airplay from Amazing Radio, Amazon Music’s ‘New Band’s segment, Daniel Carter's Rock Show on BBC Radio One and Kerrang Radio, this band shows no signs of slowing down. Bringing an aggressive edge to this track Midnight Sun can only be the start of their ascent into the upper echelons of the Rock and Alternative circuits both home and away.

The Rain Experiment - Totally Visual

With a slot at King Tut’s Summer Nights, Glasgow based quartet The Rain Experiment have been honing a passionate and powerful sound over their releases. Totally Visual furthers this with a heady mix of seering guitar leads and a driving force of their own brand of indie rock. Harkening of bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen, Kasabian and Blossoms these emerging musicians hold a promising sound and will no doubt continue to flourish.

Steven Young - Tangerine Drugstore

Following on from last year's two singles, Island and Regalia, burgeoning artist Steven Young has opened up another musical vortex filled with personality. Cascading piano notes fall around the solid rhythm section as Young spins a exciting lyrical world that echoes the psychedelic rock and strangeness of the 70’s.
