SAMAs announce free showcase for Paisley Music Week

Bungalow will host the SAMAs scintillating stage

ALONGSIDE our main awards on Wednesday 12th October, we will also be working in collaboration with Paisley Music Week.

We're delighted to be hosting a stage at The Bungalow on Thursday 18th August bringing a together a combination of previous nominees and emerging talent. Did we mention this is FREE show?

Check out the line-up below!

Pronto Mama

Forming in 2011, Pronto Mama are a six-piece indie rock/soul pop band who have firmly established themselves within the Scottish music scene.

Playing in Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness and Glasgow, Pronto Mama have put their stamp on the scene. As well as this, they have also played in London taking their soulful Scottish sound across the UK. The band play Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow on Friday 12th August supporting previous SAMA winners Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5, and Hector Bizerk.

The last time we put on Pronto Mama it was VERY special. Time to do it all over again!

The Vegan Leather

Fresh off selling-out King Tut’s Summer Nights, and playing to a packed out T-Break stage at T In The Park, we're thrilled to welcome The Vegan Leather.

Based in Paisley, The Vegan Leather are a four-piece art-pop band taking influence from artists such as Metronomy, Bonobo and LCD Soundsystem. Putting these combinations together allows Marie, Matt, Duncan and Gianluca to come together and create “complex pop music for your soul, mind, hips and feet”. The band will soon play Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival where SAMAs founder Richy Muirhead will be hosting the Seedlings Stage alongside Vic Galloway from BBC Radio Scotland.

PAISLEY five-piece indie rock band Delphi have just dropped the video for ‘Learn to Swim’ from their upcoming EP.

After recently supporting Austin on their 2016 UK Tour playing in cities such as Newcastle, Birmingham and Glasgow, the band have announced that they will be going on to support Alvarez Kings at King Tut’s in October. Delphi are picking up the pace and are on their way to becoming one to look out for in the Scottish music scene.

So, now you'll be thinking HOW can I attend?

It's simple, all you need to do it register through Eventbrite. This will also entitle you to a complimentary drink upon arrival from our friends over at Red Stripe!
