In alphabetical order.

Bossy Love - Me + U

Merging a sleek RnB production with the melodic sensibilities of modern pop, Glasgow-based duo Bossy Love are heating things up with ‘Me + U’. Comprising of Scottish producer/drummer John Bailey Jnr and Austrailian vocalist Amandah Wilkinson the pair have managed to create a striking new take on alternative pop. Underpinned by a thick synth bass, Wilkinson exercises her flawless ability to craft a stunning vocal performance.

Fabric Bear - Comfort Zone

Embedding a charm into the thrilling guitar leads, tinted with a romantic nostalgia, Fabric Bear’s ‘Comfort Zone’ is the brand new single from the Glasgow based quartet. Ahead of their headline show in Edinburgh’s Mash House, the band have been delivering singles over the year that has garnered them a strong fan base throughout the local scenes.

Fiendz YT - Devil Dawg

Local troublemakers Fiends YT have been causing it throughout 2019 and this latest single is no exception. ‘Devil Dawg’ comes screaming out of the speakers with reckless abandon. The thick layer of fuzzy guitars is enough to catch anyone's attention, a vicious energy that oozes mischief.

GRAVELLE - Shedding Skin

Whipping up a frenzy of noisy guitars and sultry synths, Gravelle have been making their mark within the live music circuit. The latest single ‘Shedding Skin’ is the first release of 2019, and has been fully worth the wait. Keeping the tension at boiling point right through the track, the duo manage to create something that wouldn’t go out of place in the darkest clubs of Berlin.

Lanark Artefax - Moo Orphaned Drift

Coming from the latest EP ‘Corra Linn’, UK electronic musician Lanark Artefax brings together the harshness of industrial techno with an eerie sense of beauty on ‘Moo Orphaned Drift’. Colossal synths sweep through the song in amongst the ethereal backing vocals, while the rhythm section underpins it with an array of interesting sounds.

Lotus Eater - Second To None

Metal heavyweights Lotus Eater have spent most of the year laying waste to venues across the UK and Europe, with the new single ‘Second To None’ a clear sign of things to come. The guttural guitar beatdowns and the unhinged power the band produce is enough for anyone to latch on to.

SAINT PHNX - Scream

SAINT PHNX return with a striking new single called ‘Scream’! The duo are fresh off tours with Lewis Capaldi and Yungblud, you can easily imagine this song cranked upto ten in an arena environment with their energetic live presence.

Swim School - too young to know

Arriving just in time for their UK tour supporting The Xcerts, Swim School have dropped their third single ‘too young to know’. With their prior two releases elevating the band to ever growing heights, this latest track will no doubt send them into the stratosphere. The dreamy instrumental allows for the lushious vocals to coat the track in a bittersweet feeling.

Vagrant Real Estate - Lifeless / Like This

Producing tracks across several genres such as grime, hip-hop and R&B Vagrant Real Estate stands to be one of the more experimental on the scene right now. With ‘Lifeless/Like This’ the artist manages to create a beat that instantly invokes movement, layering the track with samples and hooks throughout. It almost feels like it should belong in the streets of early 2000’s New York with the smoky atmosphere it develops.

Zoe Graham - Gradual Move

Built upon warm synth tones and the shiver of winter mornings, singer/songwriter Zoe Graham’s latest release ‘Gradual Move’ is a meditation on the smaller things in life that cause the bigger changes. Moving into a more electronic style, compared to her previous material, Graham still keeps the storytelling aspect to her lyrics that makes the music even more powerful.
