Introducing SAMA 2024 Nominees

Leif Coffield, EUGENE, Dara Dubh, Lacuna are some of the names in this year’s selections.

A huge round of applause to this year’s 2024 Scottish Alternative Music Awards nominees. The 28 acts were selected by groups of nominators working across music and arts in Scotland using the SAMA Music Criteria.

This year’s winners will be decided a public vote which opens Monday 18 November at 12:00, closing at 17:00 on Wednesday 20 November.

The 7 winnners will be revealed exclusively at the main event on Saturday 30 November at St Luke’s. Tickets are on sale now at £12.00. This year’s ceremomy will be hosted by BBC Introducing’s Phoebe Inglis-Holmes, and poet and author Leyla Josephine, with special guests and performances from Parliamo and GASP x Supermann on da Beat.
