Indigo Velvet release new single 'Mona'

Calypso drenched four-piece Indigo Velvet released new single Mona last week, amid headline shows and festival anticipation, the introduction to a fruitful Summer begins here with this three minute slice of harmonious vitamin C delivered reliably by the Edinburgh band. 

Despite being synonymous with a technicolour pop aesthetic, Mona defines an adolescent reverie Indigo Velvet continues to trademark so well. You’re launched head first into a shower of effervescent rhythm that’s hard to avoid, which backs a velvet rich vocal complemented by break-downs and slick chorus lines. Another assault on the senses to leave you bittersweet and longing for brighter, nostalgia fuelled days.
