Artist Call Out: SAMA Showcase at Liverpool Sound City 2024
SAMA are looking for three Scottish-based artists to join the bill for this year's showcase! [THIS IS NOW CLOSED]
We welcome applications across all genres but we are looking for artists who have clearly demonstrated growth within the last 12 months, have a plan of action in place for 2024, work with management/mentors, and have evidence to support why now is the best time to perform at Sound City. This is an opportunity to perform to new audiences from across UK, and also to make connections with key professionals in the music business.
Event date: Friday 3rd May, 2024
Location: Various venues across Liverpool
Each artist will receive the following:
£400.00 showcase fee
25 minute set
Sound City Forum Conference pass & Festival passes for artist/management team
Live Event photography
Inclusion into marketing/PR handled by both SAMA + Sound City
Invite to SAMA Pre Event Info Session (April 2024)
The call out will close on Monday 25th March at 5pm.
Slots are limited in this event therefore it is competitive process. Each application will be carefully assessed by the in-house team at SAMA with relevant experienced in showcases, conferences, and music programming. We expect the artist applications to take between 15-20 minutes.
