5 MUST SEE PICKS FOR ELECTRIC FIELDS 2017!

FESTIVAL SEASON IS IN FULL FLOW, NEXT UP: ELECTRIC FIELDS!

Taking place at the forest walls of Drumlanrig Castle (Dumfries & Galloway) on 1-2 September with headline performances from Scottish rock heavy weights Frightened Rabbit, and UK garage king Dizzee Rascal

The eclectic bill includes familiar SAMA winners on the lineup including Fatherson, Crash Club, and ceremony performers Stillhound and Shogun.

We’ve picked and previewed five un-missable acts to catch at the festival. We suggest adding them to your list festival watch lists.

1. FATHERSON

Five years on from their SAMA win, and Glasgow three-piece Fatherson have gone from strength to strength. Resonating sentimentality will have a crowd held, heart and soul, invested in the clarity of Leighton’s vocal and poignant lyrics stylings. A backdrop of slow-build instrumentals and the aching nostalgia of crowd chanted chorus lines, will serve as a tangibly sincere memory for years to come, as curtains close on festival season 2017. Dale Barclay's new musical project is a hauntingly beautiful punk mash up pushing the realms of creativity. This six-piece live act will leave you desperate for more! What's guaranteed is the set to be sweaty, loud, dark, and intense from the beginning.

And Yet It Moves will begin their full UK tour this September with stops in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Watch Ketamine Ma'am below. For more click here

3. STILLHOUND.

If Stillhound’s performance from SAMA 2016 is anything to go by, the Edinburgh three-piece will deliver a truly engaging, clean-cut set.
