Kami-O, Rider Shafique - Only One

Coming from the DJ/Producer Kami-O’s second LP Veiled, Only One is a dark rave encapsulated in the throbbing beats and waves synths. Collaborating with Rider Shafique, Only One is an intense crush of hard dance music. Propelled by the relentless rhythmical synths that are interlocked with the bass and drums, while Rider Shafique weaves his rhymes around the hypnotic track.

Kilgour- Set It Alight

Indie trio Kilgour have been making a name for themselves since their debut EP in 2020, getting airplay in both the UK and Ireland. Set it Alight is taken from their sophomore EP So Far, a track that seeps through the nostalgia with gritty guitars. Imagine if Bombay Bicycle Club liked Dinosaur Junior a lot, Set It Alight uses simplicity in such an impactful way it feels genuine and honest.

Lacuna - Robin

Harkening a new sonic era for the band, Robin is the brand new single from Glasgow folk rock quartet Lacuna. Tenderly mixing the hushed sentiments of folk music with emotive guitar leads, Robin is a tense build up but once it explodes from its cage it moves elegantly around this wintery sonic landscape the band have crafted. With airplay and praise from Phoebe Inglis Holmes on BBC Introducing Scotland, Lacuna will be local legends in no time.

LVRA - LOOK

Melding a variety of electronic music genres together to create a fiery and individual sound, LVRA is one of the most intriguing artists on the scene right now. The new single Look is equal parts bubblegum hyper pop and pounding industrial, brimming with an ecstatic personality in its snarky and winding vocal melodies.

Namesbliss, Vagrant Real Estate, Alamay - Balance

Balance is the fourth single from rising Hip-Hop star Namesbliss, rounding of his prolific year of banging releases and gigs around the country. Backed with the incomparable Vagrant Real Estate on production duties and Alamay on a vocal feature, Namesbliss is able to expertly deliver bar after bar. The off-kilter piano sample and glitchy drums give the track a moody atmosphere.

Post Coal Prom Queen - Free Radio Phobos

Experimental electronic duo Post Coal Prom Queen continue to push sonic boundaries with their genre fusing multi layered compositions. Starting with Exorcist-style glockenspiel, Free Radio Phobos soon expands into a swirling mix of pounding artificial drums and synths, side to side with string lines and chugging guitar. After their immense debut album Music For Hypercapitalists, the next chapter in this flourishing project is sure to blow everyone away.

Rosie H Sullivan - So I’ve Been Told

Capturing the essence of her hometown in the Isle of Lewis, singer/songwriter Roise H Sullivan breathes a wistful beauty into her music. So I’ve Been Told is a retrospective, looking back at heartbreak and personal strife from a different angle. The track is sparsely lit with vocal harmonies and atmospheric drones to fully encapsulate those ever difficult emotions.

Rory James - Never Get Tired

Former SAMA winner Rory James (Bwani Junction) has unleashed his new solo project with the single Never Get Tired. This debut is an immense wave of club ready House, an enchanting lead melody is backed with a thumping kick that would fit perfectly in the centre of a packed venue.

Tom Spirals, Euan McLaughlin, An Dannsa Dub, Flew The Arrow - My Blood Runs Deep

An all star collaboration that defies genres, Dub artist Tom Spirals has brought together artists from the Scottish folk scene into the world of Reggae and Dub for his new single My Blood Runs Deep. With folk artists Euan McLaughlin and Flew The Arrow providing the acoustic elements of the track while Spirals handles the low synth bass and experimental vocal flow.

Zoe Bestel - Utopia

The long awaited return of SAMA Nominee Zoe Bestel is over, as the singer/songwriter returns with Utopia. Coming ahead of her crowdfunded third album, Utopia is Bestel at her most intimately intricate. With the slides of the upright bass alongside the plucked acoustic guitar grounding the track while Bestel and the flurries of strings guide the track into a higher realm.
